A final update from Dr. Beyenhof

We finished this last week with our seniors with our practice for Sunday’s graduation ceremony at the Mid-America Center at 1:30 p.m.  Here is the presentation shared with the seniors during practice.  There is more information in the presentation than you need to know, but I want to point out a few key items:

  • Graduates and parents accompanying them should enter through the North Entrance between 12:30 p.m. and 12:45 p.m.

    • Graduates know where and how to line up.  They need to check in for attendance purposes with the assigned teacher based on their line number.

  • Parents walk with their graduate until the star (shown on slide #20) and can sit in the bleachers in sections 213, 214, 204, or 205 respectively, or continue up the stairs of the bleachers to sit with family and other guests.

  • Graduates will exit the MAC immediately following the graduation ceremony and be located near the yellow star on map on slide 10.

  • Please review slides 5 through 17 for expectations and schedule.

For students in grades 9 through 11, this weekend and the next couple of days of school is their last opportunity to impact their grades.  Please make sure they are doing everything possible to prepare for their finals on Thursday and Friday next week.  Here is the bell schedule for next Thursday and Friday.  Please remember that next Friday is a two-hour early-out schedule.

Lots of excitement this weekend with the holiday, graduation and our lead-in to next week’s State soccer competition.  We all want to wish the graduates the best of luck in the future and our soccer players good luck also.  What an exciting time!

Thanks for reading!
