Lewis Central Students Shine at Special Olympics Basketball Skills Competition

Posted January 27, 2026

Today, 20 Lewis Central students proudly represented our district at the Special Olympics Basketball Skills competition! Athletes showcased their abilities in three skill areas—dribbling, shooting, and passing—demonstrating focus, determination, and teamwork throughout the event. Scores from all three events are combined to determine each athlete’s final placement, with first-place finishers earning the opportunity to advance to the state competition.

In the photos, you’ll see our athletes wearing their well-earned medals! We are incredibly proud of our Titans for their hard work, positive attitudes, and outstanding sportsmanship. Way to go, Titans!
