LCHS Boys Wrestling Claims Hawkeye 10 Championship

The Lewis Central High School boys wrestling team delivered an outstanding performance, earning the Hawkeye 10 Championship and showcasing the depth, talent, and determination of Titan wrestling.

Several Titans finished their day on top of the podium. Zander Manz (120), Weston Porter (126), Owen Duffek (138), and Mandius Volentine (144) each captured individual championships, helping lead the team to the overall title.

Strong finishes continued throughout the lineup, with Garrett Bills (132), Paxton Blanchard (215), and Hunter Infanger (285) earning second-place finishes in their respective weight classes. Adding to the team’s success, Kolton Volentine (165), Isaac Bates (150), and Alex Graeve (190) all secured third place.

Additional placers included Carson Lindsey (106), who finished fourth, and Layton Wright (157) and Brody Burroughs (175), who both earned fifth-place finishes.

This championship reflects the hard work put in by our student-athletes throughout the season and the dedication of the coaching staff. Congratulations to the entire LCHS boys wrestling team on an impressive Hawkeye 10 Championship—your Titan community is proud!
