In the Classroom
Students are listening to read alouds and having discussions about non-fiction books, rhyming books, and books about celebrating everyone's differences.
Kindergarten students are starting How-To books for writing.
In Math, students are working on Numbers to 20 and writing equations. They will also begin to learn about solid shapes.
For UFLI, we are reviewing the short vowel sounds. We are also beginning to learn digraphs (sh, ch, th, wh).
In science, students will be learning about animal needs.
