What We Will Learn
Reading and Phonics: We will be reading and comparing different folktales. We will also be studying books written by author Bob Graham. In phonics (UFLI) we will finish learning about word endings and move on to learning about r-controlled vowels.
Math: We will be moving into our next math unit: measurement. We will measure length and count up to 120 units. We will also continue to work on addition and subtraction within 100 and solve addition and subtraction problems with unknowns in all positions.
Writing: We will be learning how to write letters to communicate with others. We will learn what components are included when writing a friendly letter and practice writing our own letters!
Science: We will be studying animal traits and how animals adapt to meet their needs for survival.
