Posted December 17, 2025

Lewis Central Community School District is proud to announce a generous $700,000 donation from Dr. John and Jean Marshall to support an addition to the district’s Athletic Building. This significant investment will enhance athletic facilities and expand opportunities for student-athletes across the district.

The addition will allow the district to expand locker room space and relocate visiting teams from the middle school into the athletic building, improving safety, efficiency, and the overall experience for students and guests. The project will also create a new home for the Boys and Girls wrestling programs, featuring an up to 6-mat wrestling facility, a major upgrade from the current 2-mat space.

Additional improvements include new indoor practice space for all athletic teams and the expansion of the strength and conditioning classroom into an Athletic Performance Lab. This space will focus on injury prevention, mobility, flexibility, speed, agility, and overall performance to better support student-athlete development.

The Marshalls’ contribution, along with a significant donation from Iowa Western, provides the foundation for the future Lewis Central Field House and reflects a shared commitment to investing in student success, health, and well-being.

Lewis Central Community School District extends its sincere gratitude to Dr. John and Jean Marshall and Iowa Western for their support and dedication to the future of Titan Athletics.
