504.4R1 Public Performances by Students
The Board of Directors recognizes that worthy and appropriate educational values accrue from student participation in civic and community affairs. As such, the Board encourages the use of students for public performances when such performances contribute to the educational processes and objectives of the school, and when it does not unduly interfere with the student program.
All such performances shall first be approved by the Activities Director and then cleared by the principal of the students involved in said performance. The following items will be considered:
- The excessive use of one particular group shall be discouraged.
- Excessive travel by a particular group is discouraged.
- Student groups below the high school level shall engage in only limited activity.
