Supply List
The following is information for you and your band student in preparation for the next school year.
Please have your student's instrument checked by a repair technician. There is nothing more frustrating for a young band student than to play an instrument that is not working. Summer is a great time to have them checked out.
All band students should bring their instruments on the second day of rehearsal.
Incoming Woodwind Players
- One pencil
- "Habits of a Successful Beginner Band Musician" (green book) for your instrument
- You can purchase this yourself so your student can have his or her own at the beginning of the year - we will use it EXTENSIVELY in the 2nd trimester.

Flute
- Cleaning rod
- Polishing cloth
Clarinet & Saxophone
- One box of Vandoren Reeds, size 3 (6th grade may want size 2.5)
- One tube of cork grease
- Neck strap (both clarinets and saxophones need a neck strap)
Incoming Brass Players
