Does your child have their Chromebook at home? Check out Google's guide Chromebooks. - Elementary parents - if you would like to pick up a Chromebook for your child please email techquestions@lewiscentral.org and we will coordinate a time for you to pick one up for your child. -

If students are using a different computer at home, they can log into Google Chrome on any computer. You can see the different ways to add a person on the videos and images below.

Students will log in with their Lewis Central address, which is usually their firstname.lastname@lewiscentral.org
. Remember, this would be their full first name. There is a 20 character limit, so if your student has a longer name, it may have been truncated. If your student doesn’t know it, please email techquestions@lewiscentral.org and we can help put you in the right direction. Clever is the homepage for most elementary students when they log into their Chromebooks. It contains links to a variety of things they use on a regular basis. Click here to access it. They may need to log in with their Google account.

Click here for tips on using Zoom at home. When logged in as a student on a computer or their Chromebook, you must join the Zoom meeting from the browser. The video below walks you through that process. If you do not see the join from browser link, contact your teacher.

For the fall of 2020, all Pre-K-1st grade teachers will be utilizing Seesaw and 2-12 teachers will be using Google Classroom to distribute and collect required learning from students. While Google Classroom does not provide detailed assignment information for parents, we do encourage you to sit down with your child and look through their Classrooms for assignment information. Below is some information to help you and your child get logged in and navigate Google Classroom. More information about Seesaw will be sent home from Kreft staff.
