Are you planning to take college credit classes next year? Students must have qualifying scores on the ACT or COMPASS in order to take classes for college credit. If you have yet to take the ACT, or if you need an opportunity to improve your scores, LC will offer the COMPASS on Wednesday, March 31 at 3:00 p.m. in the Pod 1 computer lab. It will also be offered on Wednesday, April 7 at 1:00 p.m. in the Pod 1 computer lab. Testing is limited to the first 24 students who register. Sign up sheets are available on the counter in the principal's office.
Need a dress for prom, homecoming, graduation or senior party? Jennie Edmundson’s Teen Volunteers are having a dress sale with proceeds to benefit the Spirit for Courage Cancer Care Fund. Dresses are available in a variety of styles and sizes ranging from 4-24. And at prices only $10-25… there is definitely something for everyone. Anyone attending will be entered into hourly drawings for prom accessories. Free hairstyles, manicures, pedicures and much more will be given away! Please plan to attend Saturday, March 13th from 11am-5pm at Lewis Central High School.
Our segment on High School Cribs will air April 8th on WOWT Channel 6.
Boys golf meeting is after school today in room 315.
Student Council informal dance will be Friday, March 12 from 7:30-10:30. Admission is 3 cans of food or $3.00. Proceeds go to the local food pantry.
If you ordered anything from School Traditions, they will be here on Friday, March 12 during lunch with items for graduation. If there is a balance due, please have it ready. 3/12/10
A representative from ITT Tech will be in the commons area during 4th period on Friday.
All girls interested in going out for softball please stop by the Principal's Office and pickup a letter from Coach Wittstruck.
Attention All Past Cheerleaders--Please turn in your uniform, warm-ups, and bag on Monday, March 15th in the Health Room at 3:00. We will be making tryout signs for both the middle school and high school. Please plan to attend. Thank you.
"It has come to our attention that we have another Business Professionals of America National Qualifier. Sierra Short came in 4th at State in Fundamental Accounting and will be competing as a National Qualifier in Anaheim, California in May of this year. Congratulations to both of our National Qualifiers - Ashley Clouser and Sierra Short."
A representative from Northwest Missouri State will be in the Guidance office on Monday, March 15 at 10:00. If you would like to visit with this representative please get a pass from someone in the Guidance office.
The girls' track team needs to meet in the big gym in the high school today for practice. If you plan on running outside bring sweat bottoms and sweat tops.
