ELL Literacy Night

On Thursday, April 2nd Lewis Central hosted a Literacy Night for English Language Learners and their families. Many families enjoyed supper, social time, and conversations with teachers while exploring a variety of literacy materials. Families were able to explore and take home backpacks filled with books and other activities that they can engage in together that will promote early literacy and learning. We were excited to have approximately 50 parents and children attend this evening of activities and look forward to more time together to learn and share. Thanks to all of the students and families for a great evening of fun and learning!
