McTeacher Night for Kreft!

On Tuesday, October 7, Kreft teachers could be found at the Manawa McDonalds, serving ice cream cones and wiping tables.  It was part of the national "McTeacher Night" where McDonalds restaurants match up with their school partners to provide funds for student resources.  Kreft received 20% of the profits from 4:00-8:00 p.m.  Kreft students and their families enjoyed balloons and free ice cream cones and had the opportunity to participate in a drawing for McDonalds toys. Kreft and McDonalds partner up for other activities in addition to McTeacher Night.  Kreft students provide art work and table decorations to McDonalds on a monthly basis.  McDonalds provides drinks for various Kreft activities, and once again Ronald McDonald will be featured at the November Family Activity Night. An extra treat for each Kreft student is receiving a Happy Meal lunch sometime throughout the school year.
