Dear Lewis Central Parents,
Lewis Central Schools Food Service is pleased to announce a new program called
e-Funds For Schools which allows parents several payment options. Not only do you have the ability to have school payments automatically withdrawn electronically from your checking account or charged to your credit card, you also have the flexibility to pay at anytime through the school’s Website.
The convenience and flexibility of e-Funds For Schools will help eliminate last minute check writing hassles, improve efficiencies, and help cut costs for both you and the School. Plus, you will no longer need to worry that your children could lose or forget the money intended for school breakfast or lunch or that they might spend it on other non-school items.
You are in full control of your account and can make a payment at any time that is convenient for you. NO PAYMENTS WILL BE ALLOWED WITHOUT YOUR KNOWLEDGE AND AUTHORIZATION THROUGH THIS SECURE PAYMENT SYSTEM. By providing your home or work e-mail address, an e-mail notifying you of low funds will be sent beginning at +$7.00 per student.
As an additional incentive, at this time, there will be no cost to the parent for enrolling and using this service.
To enroll go to the schools website, www.lewiscentral.org click the Food Service tab. The e-Funds for Schools information letter and instructions will be displayed. (We suggest you print the instructions.) Click the “link” near the bottom of the letter. If you are a new user, you will need to register. You will need your family ID number and PIN. If you do not have this information, please contact the food service department at 366-8267 or email lcfoodservice@lewiscentral.k12.ia.us .
We would also like to encourage you to use the website to view School Lunch Menus and to review your Family Meal Balance.
