DECEMBER
The 6h grade
band had a wonderful first concert.
Congratulations!!
Students have a lot of music in their folders that they can
practice over break.
You can listen to the concert band music at www.peppermusic.com
The band is moving from beginning band level to grade level 1/2 and
also level 1.
They have 2 new concert band tunes: March of the Palominos &
Shockwave.
More New Music Dec 17 - T-Rex (tone poem) & Summit
Fanfare.
They can practice scale #1,2,3. Or start the chromatic scale
memorization.
They also have other band tunes in their folders such as March of
the Kangaroos & Cango Caves.
Also new - Summit Fanfare & T-Rex
Instruments should be taken home and practiced over break!

Classroom Expectations:
Participate correctly at all times and come prepared for every
rehearsal.
Practice 20 minutes daily.
Use best tone quality and correct posture.
Follow directions.
Refrain from using gum or candy.
Treat others with respect - keep your hands and other body parts to
yourself.
