Give a Kid a Smile

Lewis Central was selected to participate in a special program sponsored by The Omni Dental Center. Give a Kid a Smile was held on February 1, 2008 for Kreft Primary students. Forty-two students participated in the project. This program was designed to provide comprehensive, preventive dental services for students who qualified. Children were transported to the Omni Dental Center to receive a thorough dental exam, cleaning, fluoride treatment, sealants, and if needed, fillings. The dentists and dental hygienists volunteered their time. The supplies for this project were funded by the American Dental Association.
