Services Provided:

Classroom Guidance Lessons: Life skill Lessons are taught to all K-2 students.
Small Group: Sessions available for children who may need extra instruction and support.
Individual: Sessions available for children who may have personal/emotional needs.
Parent Consultation: Parenting tips are discussed. Parenting materials are available for checkout.
Parenting Classes: Evening classes are held to teach the Jim Fay "Love and Logic" parenting philosophy.
Lewis Central Youth Mentoring Program: Positive role models are provided for children in need. This program is registered with the state of Iowa.
Community Resource: A listing of counseling agencies and contacts can be provided upon request.
Ready Set Know: Coordination of this program from the Iowa State Extension Office to teach children about personal safety.
Holiday Food Baskets and Gifts: Connects needy families with charities.
