Policy 502.2 - Development of Student Conduct Policies / Rules

DEVELOPMENT OF STUDENT CONDUCT POLICIES/RULES

It shall be the responsibility of the Superintendent, in conjunction with appropriate administrators, to develop administrative regulations regarding student conduct.

Parents, staff, students, and community members shall assist with the development and revision of student discipline policies.

Building administrators shall provide a process of communicating building and district discipline policies to students. Student handbooks shall be one means of communicating the district's policies. These handbooks shall be updated and revised, if necessary, each year and presented to the Board for review.
